Chigaru the Devoted Dog
‘Chigaru the Devoted Dog’ explores the universal themes of isolation, darkness of the human spirit and loss of innocence by describing the story of a young boy who is living in a poverty stricken country that is amidst bouts of violence from terrorist groups. Notably towards the end, this narrative parallels the situation in the Central Republic of Africa where the terrorist group the LRA are abducting children and slaughtering villages.
