The Orphanage (A Love Story)
Breakfast
Leeroy jumped out of bed and pulled on Miya and Caleb. His face brightly lit then any lamp or light there could be. A few tears fell from his face as he saw them, waiting at his bed side in the early warm morning. He hugged them tightly as he pulled on the arms and hands.
"You guys came back!!!"
"Of course we would! Didn't we have this conversation yesterday?" Caleb grinned at him
"Oh yea!!! I forgot!!"
Miya patted then both on the head
"Look Caleb! Your forgetfulness is already rubbing off on him!!!"
He glared at Miya but couldn't help but snicker. Leeroy smiled bigger and bigger as he pulled them to the big doors and into a bathroom. Rows of stalls and showers and benches. It looked like a football locker room from a high school. Caleb took online schooling. It worked best for him and Miya was taking online collage for Graphic Game Designing and Art. It was her dream job to make games. From her admiring of Assassins Creed story and graphics and Call Of Duty's options, background and foreground. Everything game was her game. Caleb was amazing with numbers so being a Accountant was a dream job. So both really didn't interact with school vary much, well normal school at least.
"What are you doing nut ball?"
Leeroy looked behind us
"Are we going somewhere like you promised???"
Miya kissed his head
"What did we tell you about our promises?"
He smiles and nodded
"I'm getting dressed!!!"
"But all the children's cloths are by there beds?"
Leeroy saddle frowned at us now.
"I have to hide my cloths from the other kids, they take them, and my best pair is in here!!!"
Leeroy runs over and opens locker numbered 3567. He crawls in and pushes the hard metal back to the locker and it pops out. He pulls outs a wooden lock box and opens it. He pulls out some cloths that look clean and nice. Unlike all his other cloths. A pair of black pants and a white shirt. A green and white over vest to call it. He looked so cute and adorable. Caleb clapped his hands.
"I guess I am fighting for your affection huh?"
Miya smiled and held his hand
"No one could replace you Caleb"
Caleb reached over and kissed Miya on the lips. She kissed back and grinned. Leeroy jumped on there lap
"...."
Caleb looked down at him and raised an eye brow
"Oh I see!!!! You want a kiss to dont yea buddy?"
Caleb nudges him in the shoulder, making Leeroy blush brightly and push him
"NO!!!"
Miya laughs at his denial. She kisses him on the cheek and grins. Leeroys face blushes harder and harder. He smiles and hugs her
"Hey Leeroy," Caleb whispers
"What?" Leeroy smiled and whispered back
Miya looked at them confused. Waiting to see what he said next. Caleb was a little shit head sometimes, but she loved him all the same.
"Don't mind me saying, your new girlfriend is SUPER hot!!!"
Miya busted out laughing and giggling. They both hugged her.
"Hahaha!!!! Come on boys, it's time to get going!!!"
Holding onto Leeroys hand, Caleb and Miya walked him down the hall of beds and glaring children. Leeroy clung closer to Caleb's leg. So afraid of them it hurt Miya to see him so scared of other children, young, small, children. Just like him. She was bullied as a child. Her mother and grandparents and "father" had to tell Miya that when she was only five years old she wanted to kill herself. Caleb went threw some of the same things. But not as severe. But all in all they shared the same pain. Miss Valmite gave her warning to Leeroy and we walked him to the parking lot. Looking at the Black 2013 Nissan Altima, freshly washed and shined, Leeroy stopped moving to stare.
"WOW!! IS THAT OUR CAR?!?"
Caleb wanted to show off a bit for Leeroy. He grinned and nodded
"Yup, come on, get in"
Excitedly he jumped into the car and Miya turned to strap on the seat belt. Leeroy jumped and jittered around in his spot. He held onto Miya's hand as they drove the almost three hour drive. The hole time excitedly looking out the window and jumping around.
"You hungry buddy?"
Snapping out of his trance he looked blankly at the mirror to Caleb's face.
"Whhhaaaas?"
"Spacing out back there?"
He nods and returns back to normal.
"Yea...would you really feed me this early?"
"That's what your suppose to do!!! Breakfast in the morning, lunch at noon and dinner in the evening!!"
Miya explains happily.
"And at night you get dessert!!! and don't forget the midnight snack!"
Caleb joins in. Miya glares at him.
"Wow!!! You must be the best parents ever!!"
Both there mouths drop and Caleb rubs Miya's leg.
"We aren't parents yet buddy..."
"Oh....why not?"
Fighting back tears and sobs Miya squeezed both there hands
"There was something wrong with me. So that's why...."
"What's-"
Sensing the guilt and sadness, the tears ready to fall out of her eyes, he changed the subject.
"So are you hungry? We got a bit off topic!! Haha!! Wherever you want to go, we can take you!"
Turning his attention to his hunger he nodded.
"YES!! But I don't get out much...so I don't know where to eat...what's your favourite place to eat dad and mom?"
"Well, I'm glad you asked buddy, I have just the place!!!"
Caleb couldn't help but laugh at Miya's crying happy face. The sound of someone calling her "mom" or "mommy" was a dream come true. And she's already had a few dreams come true. Meeting her heroes, Singing on stage with Dahvie Vanity of Blood On The Dance Floor with the song she sung the best to (Bewitched) and she got to be with the man she loved the most. Caleb. And now she was going to be the mother she always wanted to be, with the man she couldn't live without. And she was happy. As they drove they watched there soon to be son in the back seat of there car happily talking and talking. Caleb's hand ran up and down Miya's trembling, smooth leg. Poking his finger into her fishnet stocking holes. Making her giggle and shift her body. He kept going and crept his hand up to her skirt and slid a few fingers under it.
"Caleb...."
"I can't help myself....have you seen yourself lately?"
"I prefer not to look into a mirror. I hate seeing myself..."
Caleb ran his fingers between her tights and right to the soft spot of her underwear. She slammed her foot on the floor of the car and smashed her legs closed. He pulled his hand away (his fingers in pain from the hard smashing) and licked his fingers.
"Hey we're here!"
Miya rolled her eyes at Caleb and got out of the car. She helped unbuckle Leeroy and he stepped out of the car. Holding onto his "mommies and daddies" hands. Opening the doors Leeroy couldn't stop jumping up and down. A waitress smiles and waves at us. No one had ever seen a boy so happy to be walking into a iHop. The waitress showed them to a booth and handed them there menus. She smiled at all of them.
"What would you like to drink?"
Pulling out a pad of paper and a ball point pen she placed it on the paper, ready to write.
"Uh...ill just have water"
Caleb smiles, still holding onto the morning coffee Miya had made. The waitress looked to Miya.
"Orange Juice please…and could I get a glass of water with that to?"
"Of course you may, and for you?"
Leeroy looked at Miya and Caleb. Miya reached across the table and held Leeroys hand. Smiling up at him.
"You can have anything you want,"
"And everything!!! And as much as you want!"
Caleb finished.
Leeroy smiled
"Really?!?"
"Yes, really"
He looked up to the waitress and grinned.
"Hot chocolate please!! A big one to!!!"
They all couldn't help but laugh. The waitress smiled and walked away. Leaving all three of them together.
"Thank you!"
"Your welcome, Hey Leeroy, I know it's early, but how much do you like us?"
"How much? I love you guys...."
His face looked down at his lap. Caleb squeezed hard on Miya's leg and she his hand.
"You do?"
"Yes, I really do...I'm happy and I mean real happy! Not the fake happy I was with my other family's...and I'm not saying this to get a new home and a family....I'm saying it because I mean it..."
Caleb and Miya exchanged glances and teary smiles.
"I want to be with a family I love and care about to...not just one that loves me..."
"Aww...Leeroy...we love you, so vary vary much!! We want a child and we want that child to be you...."
"And you don't know how happy we are to hear you say that..."
The waitress comes back with there drinks and asked for there orders. Caleb orders waffles and eggs, along with bacon. Leeroy asks for a stack of pancakes and "everything else" a breakfast has. Caleb and Miya nod in approval.
"And you miss?"
"Oh uh nothing for me"
"You sure?" The waitress asks again
Leeroy cocks his head
"Why not?"
"Well, Miya doesn't eat in the mornings, she never has, it's a rarity that she dose, but if I make her breakfast, just for her, she subsumes"
Caleb explains. He knew her well. Almost to well.
The waitress smiles at them and Leeroy half smiles
"Are you sure mom-"
Miya swallows hard
"Yes sweetie, dont worry about me I'm fine!"
Caleb kisses her on the cheek and nuzzles her neck. Leeroy grins
"What do you mean don't worry about you?!? I love you!!! I couldn't not worry about you!! And Caleb couldn't either!! We care about you so we worry!!"
Fighting back the sweet words of this tiny little boy, Miya just smiled back and ruffled his hair
"Aww....now stop it you guys and order!!! Ha ha!"
After some more talking the waitress returned with there food. Miya enjoyed watching Caleb and Leeroy eat away and laugh. Caleb told him stories of earlier in there relationship and ones of before there relationship. Only funny ones, nothing to romantic or serious. Not yet. It was to early for anything fully serious or such. Miya's heart beat fast and she ha to get up and leave the table right as Caleb paid the check.
"Just go wait out for me in the car ok?"
Caleb frowns, trying to hide it from Leeroy. He pulls Miya in and slips his wallet into her skirt. She half smiles and runs to the bathroom. Miya locked herself in the biggest stall and opened up Caleb's wallet. Tears streamed down her face as she tried to quietly sob her way to taking the pills behind The picture of her in Caleb's wallet. Outside in the car Miya knew the pain Caleb felt knowing what the pills were for, why she was taking them, and how he couldn't do anything to help her. It killed him on the inside. And it hurt Miya just as much. Finally, walking out of the bathroom stall after almost twenty long and painful minutes Miya fixes her hair and make up. She runs out to the car and jumps in the passenger seat. Caleb gives her a sad smile and kisses her, holding her hand tightly while gently rubbing her stomach
"Are you ok?"
Miya turned back around to put on a smile for Leeroy
"Oh yes I'm fine..."
"Do you have a tummy ache?"
She laughs and kisses Leeroy on the forehead
"Yes but it will go away soon."
"I get those a lot! Mostly because the food we eat back at home isn't good! But I feel really full!!"
They both laughed and Caleb started up the car again, pulling back onto the road
"I'm taking it you liked breakfast?"
"Oh yes!!!!"
"Good, but ill tell you a secret" Miya leaned over and whispered
"If you think that was good, just wait till Caleb starts cooking us breakfast, he's amazing!"
