To the People

Letter #9: To a Stranger (2)

Dear People of Chicago Who Aren’t Faking Being Homeless,

I apologize that not many people are out there to help you. People tend to throw away their things rather than give it to you. People use their money on useless things rather than give it to people who actually need it. The rich are going to get richer, and the rest of us are just going to get poorer. Unfortunately, it’s going to be like that for a while. But, I have made it my personal goal to donate the things I no longer want. I will give a dollar to every homeless person I see. It may not be much, but every little bit counts. I don’t have a job at the moment but once I get one, the amount of money I give away will increase.

I will help you all no matter what.

From,
A Teenaged Chicago Citizen Out to Change the World
