In Her Eyes

I check my phone, it's 10:24am. "What's first?" She asks.
I walk over to the bus schedule, the next bus arrival time is 11:00. We have about half an hour to spare. "Let's get some food." I say.
She laughs at me. "You didn't eat breakfast did you?" She asks.
"Granola bar?" I say.
She just sighs.
"Let's not waste the money, eat what we packed." I say.
"No, I'm fine, you are too, dont waste it because you want to pig out, we need to be resourceful." She says with a half-glare.
"Re-what?" I ask.
"Nothing." She says shaking her head.
"Fine then I'm taking a nap." I said, and set an alarm for 10:55 on my phone.
"You should too." I said to her, but she was already laying down on the bench.

I took a hoodie out of one of my bags and balled it up to turn it into a hobo pillow.
I closed my eyes. Man, am I tired.
