The Grey Valley

Due to the work of Detective Marcus, we learn of a young lady named Alice. This story starts off in an interrogation room, where Alice, eventually, will cooperate with Detective Marcus to help shed some light on the reasons as to how she got to this point in her life. Her life isn't the story that you'd expect it to be.

And when you can't tell the difference between black and white, you end up in what is known as the grey valley.
