I had known Elena since we were kids. We had been neighbors and best friends, practically inseparable. My family moved and we lost touch, but when we moved back to Mystic Falls, we were able to reconnect. I came into her life in the beginning of her vampire dilemma. She had been so confused and worried, that I couldn’t help but help her. I had no idea what I was getting myself into, yet I still went for it. I did not know that it would turn out this way. I was an innocent girl who knew a thing a two about boys but had never had the opportunity to use the knowledge. I was new in town and knew no one but Elena, Caroline and Bonnie, and eventually, the Salvatore brothers. People soon came to like me, but it was Elena that everyone loved, especially the Salvatores.
