Love and Hate Collide

“Please, please, please. I know you and Brian don’t get on but please. I want you there with me Millie.” Zacky Baker begged me.

Me and Brian hadn’t liked each other since the second we met. There was just something about him that I couldn’t stand. It was like the saying when love and hate collide. I love Zacky but along with that there is a hatred for Brian. No one knew why me and Brian hated each other; then again I wasn’t too sure. Whether it was how cocky he was or the infamous smirk of his, either way I just knew one thing. That I hated Brian Elwin Haner Jr. with a passion and no one can ever change that.

I looked at Zack who was nearly on his knees begging me to go with them, trust me it was funny to watch him beg for once. He asked me if I could help Jason and Matt Berry out when I was on tour, which was if I said yes, as they so ‘extra’ help for this tour. Why? I don’t know.

“Pleeeeease” I couldn’t help but smile at him, but he has been begging for at least an hour.

“God sake Zachary James Baker. I’ll say yes if you shut up” I smiled down at him and he jumped up and pulled me into a hug.

“Yeah thank you, thank you, thank you. I’ll make sure Brian leaves you alone.”

“You’re welcome”

That was six months ago. The tour has been going really well. Me and Brian have gotten on most of the time.

“Millie?” I heard Brian shout from backstage.

“Yes?”

“You didn’t tune my guitar. I have no idea why Zack thought you could help us out. You’re useless at everything.”

I’m not gonna lie everything he had said hurt. But it did get me thinking as to why Zack begged me to come with them. I don’t know much about being a tech but I know enough to help them out.

“Brian leave her alone” I heard Matt shout as he walked pasted us.

“Whatever” He mumbled as he walked away.

I looked up at Matt considering his at least 5” taller than me “What did I do to him?”

“Just ignore him. He’s being an ass for no reason.”

There was something that Matt wasn’t telling me and I was going to find out.

I stood watching the guys like I did every night. I couldn’t help but to smile at them. They were living their dream. I wish I could but this is a lot better than what I had planned. Ever since I was thirteen I wanted to be a music journalist but I never got the degrees I needed.

“Millie?” I looked over to see Lucy, Bella, and Holly come over. Lucy was Jimmy’s wife, Bella was Matt’s girlfriend of five years and Holly was Johnny’s girlfriend.

“Hey” I smiled at them noticing Maddie wasn’t here “Where’s Maddie?”

The girls looked at each other then back at me. “Err she’s busy” Lucy smiled.

“Oh” Brian and Maddie have been going out for a little over four years. They are so cute together, even if I hate Brian.

“Zack you have something to ask Millie?” I heard Matt say to the crowd as they screamed louder.

“Yep” Zack smiled as he came over to me and the girls.

I was beyond confused by now

“Millie?” Zack said as he took my hand and let me on stage. Zack knew I had stage fright.

“Zack?” I whispered so only he could hear it.

“It’s gonna be ok” He smiled.

Zack handed Brian his guitar before he came back over to me.

He smiled before he got down on one knee and looked up at me “Millie Louise Strom I’ve loved you for as long as I can remember and loved every second of it. You’re the queen of my heart and I’d be so lost without you I don’t know what I would do. Millie will you marry me?”

I smiled and started crying slightly and nodded my head “Yes I’ll marry you Zachary James Baker.” I heard the crowd ‘awww’ when Zack crashed his lips to mine. I kissed him back and smiled as he put the ring one my finger.

“I love you” he whispered in my ear making me blush slightly like I do each and every time he says those three little words.

“I love you too” I whispered back.

I walked off stage and the girls hugged me and asked to look at the ring. After they had all seen it we watched the guys and I wouldn’t help the smile that was on my face.

~Time skip 3 months~

“Baby?” I called through the house after I had gotten home.

“Yeah?” I heard my fiancé shout from the back yard where he’s likely to be sat but the pool with the dogs. I went out the back and saw that Brian was there too. Joy.

“Brian” I nodded at him.

“Millie” He looked at me. That was as friendly as we normally ever get. It’s rare if we say more to each other than that without something harsh coming out of one of our mouths.

“I was gonna see if you wanted to go out for dinner” I smiled “But I can cook for us and Brian if he would like”

“Ok babe” He kissed my cheek and smiled.

“You two can go out I gotta meet someone” Brian said as he got up and hugged Zack and patted his back before nodding his head at me before walking into the house and out the front door.

“So where were you planning?”

“I was gonna let you choose baby” I looked at him and laid my hand on my three month pregnant belly.

“Oh we have a meeting with the wedding planner tomorrow”

“Right baby” I smiled at him.

The rest of the night consisted of me, Zacky and the dogs cuddling on the couch watching movies.

I woke the next morning with the urge to throw up. I heard Zack get up and come over and rub my back while holding my hair out of the way.

“Thanks” I mumbled after I finished. I sat against the bath and looked up at him.

“Welcome. You ok now babe?”

“Yeah I’m fine now” I smiled as I got up and brushed my teeth. “What time is the wedding planner coming?” I asked as I went and got dressed.

“Err around 11am I think”

Once the wedding planner got things all sorted out and left. Zack took the dogs for a walk along the beach while I caught up on some sleep.

~Time skip to wedding day~

I was nervous about today. I was finally getting married to the man I’ve loved for ages.

“Millie? Are you ready?” I heard Lucy shout.

“Nearly Lu. Just gotta put my shoes on” Once I had got them on I walked out of the room to see Lucy, Maddie, Holly and Bella all stood there smiling.

“Wow you look amazing Millie”

I blushed at them “Thanks. Let’s get this wedding started” I smiled at them.

We walked downstairs of Brian and Maddie’s house to the back garden where we were having the wedding. I was Brian waiting at the doors which lead out to the garden, this confused me so much.

“You look amazing Millie” Ok who’s this and what have they done with the real Brian?

“Thanks”

“Are you ready now?” He smiled at me.

“Yeah. Thanks”

“You’re welcome” He said as he walked to Maddie.

Matt, Johnny and Jimmy were all stood with Zack while Brian was the one giving me away, as Zack thought it would help us get on better, I didn’t mind it.

The girls walked down the aisle first then the music changed and me and Brian made our way down to Zack, who was smiling.

Zack took my hands in his and smiled as he mouthed “I love you”

I mouthed it back as the Minister started.

“Do you Zachary James Baker take Millie Louise Storm to be your lawful wedded wife?

“I do”

“Do you Millie Louise Storm take Zachary James Baker to be your lawful wedded husband?”

“I do”

“I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride”

With that Zack crashed his lips to mine and mumbled “I love you”

“I love you too” I smiled at him as we headed inside the house.

A few hours of having fun and celebrating I bumped into Brian.

“Hey” I smiled at him as we went to get some drinks

“Hey can I tell you something please” He looked nervous which wasn’t normal for him.

“Yeah sure”

He bit his lip and looked me in the eye “I love you Millie and I always have.”
