Roses Are Red

The Annoying Phone

"Miss Kanya?

My nurse walked through my door just as I looked up. I quickly blocked my ees from the little light that was let in my hospital room. "What?'' I half-groaned-half-whined. I'm dying. Only I know that. There is nothing I can do to stop it. No one, other than me, knows whats wrong with me and I'm not about to tell you.

"Miss Kanya? Someone is calling for you," Nurse McGee said with a smile.

"Okay," I said and dismissed her.

I picked up the phone.

"Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Life would totally suck
Without you," A males voice whispered on the other side of the line.

I knew exactly who he was and what he was trying to do.

"Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
I'd suggest you 'fess up
Before I come for you," I replied to his poem. I could just hear his sick smirk. He is the one who is slowly killing me.

"Roses are red,
Violets are crying,
How does it feel
To be laying there dying?" The nurse must've heard what we were saying because her jaw dropped and she ran to get a docter.

"Roses have been bloodied,
Violets been killed,
I see you have studied,
But soon youll feel what I feel."

"Roses are red,
Violets are white,
I know you're lying,
Because I am right."

That bastard.

"Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
My job is done
And yours soon too."

"Roses are dying,
Violets are violet,
Give up on trying,
Or it'll turn violent."

At this point docters came rushing in.

"Roses are sad,
Violets filled with dread,
Just promise me
You'll find someone in my stead," I tthought I heard a sniffle on the other side of the line.

"I will, love, I will. Meet me in Hell?" My best friend asked, his voice cracking at the last word, hell. Hell, it doesn't actually sound that bad.

"I will. Trust me this time, I will. I'm not sorry."
