Freeze

truly.

It had been exactly six months since they had last seen each other. A whole twenty-six weeks that she had met him at a bar after he finished his last concert in July. He couldn’t stop glancing at her every time he picked up his glass of ginger ale, and she couldn’t help but laugh at his drink of choice. He was obviously underage, but then again, so was she. She just chose to hang out with the wrong crowd to get a little gift to sneak her into a few choice places. They were seated on opposite ends of the bar with his band mates and other people scattered between them. From what she had heard, he was in a crumbling relationship with a dancer, and apparently they were taking a break that had been publicly declared. She wanted to take her chances with him. He wanted to scrape his plate clean for a couple of months. They made eye contact too many times that night.
