In the land of Montenegro, people are born with gifts. A magical ability that they were born with special to them. Everyone except Emma Hunter. So when she is called to Princeps Academy, the top magical school in the kingdom all she can think is it's a mistake. What Emma doesn't know is that she has an incredibly special gift, even in the world of magic that people will kill for. Along the way, she makes friends with a foul-mouthed princess, a perverted prince, an awkward teleporter and a cold shape shifter. Together they face evil forces while trying to survive high school.
