In Due Time

When Aika is about to turn 18, her step-mother reminds her of something that she wishes to happen - on her death bed, none the less!

Aika was never a ninja, her father emotionally abused her until she was seven, she has to take care of her five younger half-siblings, and her step-brother is more distant than usual. To top that off, her step-mother has leukemia, and only has two more years left to live. She wants to see her marry Choji, and have a grandchild before she passes. Her son doesn't seem like a son anymore, he more or less leaves her to do whatever he wants, and acts more like his cruel biological father every day. This can't turn out well, can it?!
