Chapter Two.
Vic POV.
I've been bricking it all week. I’m getting a new roommate today and he’ll be here any time now. Oh my God. I’m so scared, what if he doesn't like me? What if he’s some huge asshole who will steal all my stuff or something? I should really quit this worrying. I showered twice earlier and I’m wearing my best clothes. Good first impressions, right? I mean, I don’t want him thinking that I’m some sort of mega tramp or something. I cleaned up around the room and made it look as homey as possible. The last roommate I had was a complete ass and we hated each other, he got into a fight one day with somebody, and the next thing I knew, his mum had come to pick him up, causing the biggest fuss ever as she dragged him out the school. I haven’t had a roommate since, that’s why I’m so worried that this new guy is going to be a complete prick. Ugh, what if me and him get into a figh-
“Vic.” The receptionist walked past me, snapping me out of my thoughts.
“Wha..?” I replied, slightly confused in the tone of her voice.
“They’re here.” She replied, almost mocking my stupidity.
…Shit. Shit shit shit. I felt my head go dizzy and my eyes blanked out for a second. I wasn't good at meeting new people anyway. The receptionist had walked to the front to meet them and was bringing them back. I was looking at the floor when I heard my name.
“Vic, this is Kellin, your new roommate. You can show him around and tell him the rules.” I looked at his shoes and my eyes traveled up his body. He was wearing black skinny jeans, a band t-shirt with long sleeves and he was smiling at me. Wow. Vic say something you moron. “Hey.” I managed to get out, smiling back at him.
“Hello.” He said, the grin still planted on his face,
“It was nice meeting you Miss. Your son will be fine here, I’ll show you your way out.” Kellins mum turned to Kellin and started to say stuff about how she’ll miss him. I decided not to completely earwig. That would be rude, but I did keep my eyes on Kellin. And yes, for the record, I am gay, but there is no chance in hell that he was gay. This guy probably had chicks falling at his feet in the school he went to before this one…
