Changing Lives

Hannah Fischer was in her senior year of college at The University of Akron in Akron, Ohio. She thought she'd seen everything in way of different kinds of students over her years in school. That is, until she found herself in Effective Oral Communication for a gen-ed requirement she never realized she hadn't taken.

In there, she met Atlee Miller, who was the most interesting person she had met to the day.

His odd accent and the way he sometimes stumbled over his words; the way it seems like he's from another country but insists he's never been outside of Ohio; how religious he comes off as but the way he talks about religion and the Church as if it's the bad guy; and the subtle remarks he sometimes makes about the clothing Hannah wears and in turn her modesty.
