Alan's pov
By the time we got back to Jillian's house, it was about 10 PM. We said goodnight to each other and went to our designated rooms. I couldn't fall asleep. At about 3, I heard music playing. I quietly snuck out of bed and down the hallway. As I made my way to her room, the music got louder. I was at the door when I recognized the familiar lyrics
"So testosterone boys and harlequin girls, Will you dance to this beat and hold a lover close?"
I knocked on the door and the music got turned down. The door opened, revealing Jillian in a muscle shirt and boxers.
"Oh look, we match" she said an giggled
I looked down to see that I was also wearing a muscle shirt and boxers
I laughed and looked at her
"Did I wake you up?" she asked
I shook my head and said "I couldn't sleep."
"Oh, well I was about to put on a movie, do you want to watch one with me?" She asked
I nodded
She opened her bedroom door, revealing the room a little more.
Her room was a pale brown with white icicle lights hanging from the ceiling, a large gray bookshelf, full of old looking books, in the corner and a large bed with gray bedding and a black headboard
I closed the door quietly as she walked to her bed and sat down, pausing the music.
"Sorry for blasting music when you were trying to sleep, I guess i'm use to living alone" she said
"It's alright" I said
"So, would you like to watch netflix or a dvd?" She asked and smiled sweetly
"Netflix" I said happily
She nodded and patted the spot next to her, signalizing me to sit down
I shuffled over to her and sat down
"What kind of movie do you want to watch?" I asked her as I pulled the bedding over my legs
"I'm feeling a horror movie, what about you?" She asked as she
"Same,how about insidious?" I replied
she nodded and selected the movie
we laid down and cuddled as the movie played
"Holy shit this is terrifying" She squealed and pulled the cover over her head
I pulled her closer to me
"I'll protect you" I said proudly
She giggled and nodded
the movie was honestly kinda lame but i got to cuddle my best friend so it all kind of worked out honestly
