"Kate!Kate wake up!"
Shut up Vic." I said to the pillow. I dug my face deeper into the pillow in hopes to sleep for another hour. I felt him shake my shoulders and gave up. I turned my head to the night stand next to my side of the bed.
"Vic! It's 8:27!" I yelled at him for waking me up so soon.
"Oh my fuck. Just wake up I have great news." I rolled over and stretched my arms and legs to get up off the bed. I looked at his calendar at the end of the room. Three days left with him. I got up and slipped on some jeans and a new tank he got me.
"Okay what is it?"
"Hold up I gotta getbthe guys."
"They're not awake! You shoulda woken their lazy asses first!"
"Uh they are awake. You're the lazy one here."
"I'm on vacation I can be a sloth if I want okay."
"Be a sloth then."
"Okay." I landed in the bed again and curled up under the blanket.
"I was kidding Kate."
"So?" I was finally relaxed again when I felt his hands wrap around me and hold me in mid air.
"Vic put me down!" He threw me over his shoulder and out the room. We were greeted by the others eating waffles and cereal.
"Hey guys I got a phone call today."
"Oh shit you got a call." Jaime said waving his hands in the air.
"Whatever. This guy said he saw out video. He liked us a lot. He asked if we could go to the studio later today to meet him. Guys he's gonna give a chance."
"Holy shit really? Like we might get signed?"
"He didn't say. But we gotta give him some material."
"A new song? Today?"
"That's what he said."
"Wait you guys what about Doll Face?" Tony finally spoke up.
"Doll face?"
"Yeah. It was a song we were making before Mike passed away. We just never worked on it after that."
"Tony you're a genius!" Jaime shook him almost making the guy choke.
"Come on guys."
"Wait what about drums?"
"Oh shit. Jaime can you get someone to help us out today?"
"Yeah." Jaime left the room and started making phone calls.
"Alright lets do this."
"Kate I need your help."
We finally completed the song they were gonna perform for the record label. I wasn't even sure who they could get singed with. But it didn't matter. This was a once in a life time chance to get a shot at being singed. Hopefully the guy likes it.
"Kate come listen." They had me record them on Jaime's laptop for future use as they got ready to practice one more time.

"Ooh lets invite the guys from Sleeping with Sirens!" I shouted.
"You mean kellin and them? Why didn't you just say that?"
"Cause it sounds cool to talk about them like that. You gotta admit they're great."
"True." Vic rolled his eyes at me. I rolled my eyes back and went to the toom to change into my bikini and another tank. I pulled out my phone from my bag and messaged Kellin to meet us at the beach. I needed to plan with him about Michigan. If we were gonna be close and if we could still hang out all the time. If I didn't have Vic with me I needed him to help me out.

"I know Vic. And I love you more."
"I love you. Thanks to you we could get signed. It's all for you darling."

"Don't talk like that. We still got a few days together. Come on let's go."
