Shadows of the Past

"Legolas!" Kaja called, fear laced delicately through her strong voice. Her brother was missing. She normally could hear his steady soft breathing, but not now. There was nothing, not even the tremble of the leafs as the wind combed through them. Kaja scanned the treeline, brows furrowing when she didn't see his flash of white-blonde hair. "Legolas, manke ier lle?" She called again.

Her brother was gone.
