Sometimes, people just want to vanish, drop off the grid and be alone. Since he dropped out of school and started a website to make money answering questions online, Malcolm Anderson has wanted nothing more. However, his intelligence, reclusiveness, ad most recently his propensity for solving small crimes on request from his website, have made him something of an unwilling local celebrity.

Now, when a young girl goes missing while apparently seeking his help, Malcolm has to find her quickly, and free himself of suspicions.
