Lessons Learned I

Lee 028

Joseph and I were sitting in the library, looking through some biology books.

"Do you understand this stuff?" I mumbled, avoiding eye contact. He looked up from a book by that Mendel bastard.

"Eh, not really. I'm flunked biology."

I shut the giant book title "The Diversity of Life: The Basic Outline of Biology" and groaned.

"This sucks."

"It's almost break, just hang in there. I'm not doing too good in history."

"History is boring as hell, too."

"All subjects suck. I don't even know what I want to be yet."

"I'd like to be a writer."

"Ah, creative, eh?" he winked. I looked down at the table.

"What was up with that kiss last week?"

He shrugged a little.

"Just wanted to."

"Oh...okay..." I mumbled.

"Did you like it?"

I felt my face turn a deep scarlet.

"U-Um, uh..."

He arched his brow. I looked around nervously.

"You know, I just remembered, I have to meet Jake somewhere. See you later." I gathered up my books and took off.

Well, that was retarded. Maybe avoiding him for a while would help...or talking to Rachel, she's pretty good with this sorta stuff.
