I Don't Mean to Be a Bother, But Have You Seen This Girl?
On the Road
Alex's POV
Her lips are so soft and her hair smells so good.
Part of me says that she doesn't really feel comfortable doing anything more right now. My other part is saying I should anyways.
But she's too sweet to do anything. I want to keep her trust.
Almost as if it was planned, we hear the door unlock and someone yell
"WE'RE BACK BITCHES!" Obviously it's Jack.
Kaylee and I break apart. She fixes her hair and we walk to the front of the bus to see the other guys.
"Oh hey look, it's your girlfriend" Zack says as he walks past
"We're not dating" kaylee and I reply at the same time.
"Not yet at least." Rian jokes ". We heard you last night" he walks away to go take a shower.
Now it's just Jack, Kaylee and I in the room. No one says anything.
Jack looks at both of us suspiciously
"What have you two been up too?" He asks.
"We went shopping and then came back here to.. Uh.. Watch a movie" Kaylee replies quickly
"What movie?" Jack asks.
"Home Alone" I say. It's not suspicious because that movie is always in the DVD player anyways.
"What!? Without me!?" Jack exclaims "now you have to watch it again with me!" He takes our hands and drags us to the back of the bus and turns on his favorite movie.
Kaylees POV
I sit in between Jack and Alex. Alex falls asleep. I've seen this movie plenty of times but I can tell Jack has seen it more.
When the movie's is over, I can help but laugh at him. He had recited the whole movie quietly to himself.
"Don't laugh at me. You're just jealous" he scowls
"Aw of course I'm jealous" I laugh again
Suddenly Alex lets out a loud snore.
"Maybe we should let him sleep?" I ask
"Sure lets go see what's in the cupboards to eat" jack says taking my hand and dragging me to the front of the bus
When I look out the window, my jaw drops from shock. We're on a highway! What about Mary? She's probably back at the hotel wondering where I am. I told her I'd be gone for the day... Not leaving the town.
"JACK!" I exclaim suddenly
"AH! What?!" He says
"Where are we? And when will I get home?" I ask
"Well... We are about 2 hours away from where we were.. We're nearly in Baltimore now. We can't turn back cause we have a show to play tonight" he replies awkwardly
"Why didn't anyone tell me we were leaving?" I ask, pulling out my phone. I had to call Mary and tell her what was going on. So she could go home.
It didn't really matter that I wasn't going home. My parents could really care less about where I was or what I was doing.
"Where are you!?" Mary exclaims when she answers her phone.
"Well, I answered my phone this morning, it was Alex Gaskarth." She squeals excitedly "but... We hung out then we came back to the bus and watched a movie with Jack. No one told me they were leaving so now we're almost in Baltimore.. I'm sorry I didn't tell you.. I didn't know" I say
There's silence on the other end.
Then suddenly "OHMYGOD! Kaylee! This is awesome! This will be good for you. You needed a break from everything going on. I'll go home. It's a good thing we just graduated too!"
Not the answer I was expecting but okay
"Haha I'm glad you're not mad at me" I reply
"How could I be mad at you? It's not your fault. Did you watch home alone?" She asks
"Yah. Haha" I laugh
"AHHH! That's so awesome! I gotta go check out of the hotel and head home though now. Keep me updated on everything." She says excitedly
"Haha I promise. I'll miss you! Bye" I reply and hang up my phone.
