21 year old Damien Demidov has just received his psychology license. He has been released from the institution, and he's out in the world to try and help people with the same disorders he has. He is a genius even though he has many disorders.
His first patient is a young girl named Lucy Taylor. Damien is mentoring her, and helping her see the good in things. At the time, though, he cannot see the good in things himself. His relationship with his wife, Grey is falling apart. And his psychiatrist has left to go to Russia, to visit Damien's grandparents. Damien's old doctor left him with a mystery, and his intern, Alexander, who has just become a psychiatrist. Alexander, and Damien have a close relationship from his time in the mental institution. Now Damien can't get that time, or Alexander out of his head. What will he do about Alexander? Will he leave Grey or make it work?
