Girl Corrupted

I was really curious as to why Karen was acting funny.
I haven't done anything wrong to her, at all, I've been there for her since day one!

"Come on let's go." Desiree demanded,
"Alright, Alright." I said while pushing the door.

Desiree and I dropped down to the floor in the crawling position while watching the back table.

"They're definitely gonna think we're crazy now." Desiree chuckled.
"True." I agreed.

We slid under the table next to Karen and Jesse's, making sure they didn't see us.

"Okay, be quiet and just listen." I proposed.

At first we couldn't hear anything because of all the noise everyone else was making,
but then I heard something ; something that caught my attention.

"I don't think I can trust Maria anymore." Karen announced to Jesse.
What? What are you talking about?

"What is she talking about?" Desiree whispered.
"Shh!" I exclaimed.

I moved closer, waiting for Jesse to reply.

"Why do you say that?" He finally responded.
"I heard something." Karen assured.
"Like?" He questioned.
I'm so confused.

Just as Jesse asked, Mrs. Shane called for Karen on the loudspeaker.

"I gotta go. Meet me in the 2nd hall from the girl's bathroom at 10pm." Karen informed.
"But the lights go out at 10." Jesse protested.
"So? Sneak out! I gotta go!" Karen said while getting up from her seat.
I can't believe this. I wonder if Jesse will tell me that he's going to meet up with her.

"Maria," Desiree whispered, "can we go?"
"Of course we're going! I don't trust her anymore either, that trifling bitch!" I said angrily.

This meant war.
Yes she's psycho, but not as physco as I am.
Yes she's manipulative, but not as manipulative as I am.
She wants to get inside Jesse's mind.
She's done it to many people before.
But little does she know I can get inside her mind too.
If she heard something and believed it then she never knew me to begin with.

After Jesse left, me and Desiree slid out from under the table and sat there.

"So how are we doing this?" She questioned.
"Well first thing's first," I began, "you need to get permission from Mrs. Shane to sleep in my dorm, since we're sneaking out."
"Sounds legit." She agreed. "You're coming with me right?"
"Duh." I said sarcastically.

We got up from the table and walked out of the cafeteria.
We passed by the recreational room seeing Karen and Isabella sitting together.
You gotta be fucking kidding me. Right?

"What the fuck are they doing together?" Desiree questioned.
"I'm wondering the same thing." I broke in.

Wow.
That's all I could say, considering the fact that me and Isabella had an altercation, and Karen is sitting with her.
I honestly felt so betrayed, and I was so confused.
I didn't even know what to think.

"Let's go before shit gets hectic." Desiree said while grabbing my hand.

We walked into Mrs. Shane's office giving her a bright smile.

"Heyyyy Mrs. Shane." Desiree said acting stupid.
"What is it girls?" She replied knowing that we wanted something.
"Well, uhm," I started, "I really want Desiree to sleep in my dorm, and we're asking you for permission."
"Oh," Mrs. Shane replied. "Well, you girls are partners in crime, and you know the past incidents. You guys cause the most trouble when you're together."
Oh my god. Bitch shut the fuck up and say yes.
"But that's the past. We've grown up, a lot actually." Desiree explained.
"Alright I'll give you that." Mrs. Shane agreed. "Okay girls go ahead."
Thanks bitch.
"Thanks Mrs. Shane, I really appreciate it." I said

We walked back to my room, sat on the floor and just talked about all our problems.

"You know Maria. You cool people. I never really got the chance to actually talk to you." Desiree blurted.
"I feel the same exact way." I began. "We have a lot in common, and from the all the stories you told me, I know you won't stab me in the back like Karen."

Desiree gave me a big hug and kiss on the cheek.

"Damn it's already 9:50." She proclaimed
"Ten minutes." I said with an evil face.

I was so anxious to know what Karen "heard" about me.
You can't fool Maria. I find out everything.
