Girl Corrupted

"Maria!" Karen said while shaking me, "Maria!"
"What?" I mumbled while slowly getting up, "where's Jesse!?"
"JESSE?" Karen said while gasping, "HE SLEPT IN HERE?!"
"SHH!" I whispered, "what do you want?"
"Mrs. Shane wants you." She replied
Fuck. What now?
"For what?" I questioned.
"I honestly don't know but I THINK it's about the incident between you and Isabella." She responded
Dammit
"Crap." I said while jumping out of bed.
"How could she have found out?" I asked
"I don't know," she started, "there was a lot of people in the recreational room."
"True." I stated.

"Maria report to Mrs. Shane's office." I heard on the loudspeaker.

I left my room and walked towards Mrs. Shane's office seeing Isabella through the transparent window.
Lord.

"Have a seat Maria we have some things to discuss." Mrs. Shane said assertively

I sat across from Isabella, watching while her eyes followed me.

"I heard about the altercation you girls had yesterday." Mrs. Shane informed.
I knew it.

I glared at Isabella, wanting to jump over the table and choke her.

"What about it?" I questioned.
"You know it's against our policy." Mrs. Shane advised.
"Yes we all know." Isabella added in.

I started tapping my fingers on the table, which usually meant I was nervous.

"Ladies," Mrs. Shane started, "I'm afraid i'll have to extend your stay."
I don't care anymore.
"WHAT!?" Isabella barked. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN? I WANT TO GO HOME!"
"I'm sorry Isabella but you know fighting is against the rules." Mrs. Shane reassured

Isabella slumped down in her seat.
Haha bitch.

"Can I leave?" I asked anxiously.
"Yes, actually both of you ladies are excused." Mrs. Shane replied.

I got out of her office as quickly as I could and sped walk towards the two heavy metal front doors.
I went up close to the glass just staring outside at the green grass and blue sky.
I want to stay. But my birthday's next week, I don't wanna spend another one in here.
My legs started to get weak and my eyes started to water, I started to feel pain in my stomach.
Stop thinking so much Maria. Stop.
I looked away from the window when I saw a guard.

"Are you alright?" He said.
Do I look okay?
"Yes, I'm fine." I blurted.

It was so obvious that I wasn't okay, I could tell that the guard could see the pain my eyes.

"Are you sure? What's your name?" The guard questioned.
Leave me alone.
"My name's Maria. I'm fine okay." I confirmed.
"Alright, alright, I'm sorry if I'm upsetting you." He stammered.

I walked away towards my room, I was so upset, I didn't feel like speaking to anyone else.

"Maria!" I heard a voice call behind me.

I turned around quickly and there was Jesse.
Just what I need.

I felt his presence walk up behind me.
He turned me around and stared into my eyes.
"Baby, what's wrong?" He questioned.

I felt the warm tears stroll down my face, I was on the verge of breaking down.
But that wasn't new.....
Jesse wiped the tears from my face and gave me a hug.

"It's okay Maria, it's fine." He said while rubbing my back.

I drew back from his warm hug and looked at his ocean blue eyes.

"My life is over. I don't even know when I'm getting out of her." I cried.
"That's not true," Jesse started, "you're only 16 Maria. You have years ahead of you, this isn't the end unless you make it the end."
Curse you and your wise words Jesse.

But he did have a point. It's not the end, unless I end it.

"I know, I know." I yessed him.

He took me by my hand and we walked to his room.

"Sit on the bed, I have to show you something... A few things actually." Jesse insisted.

Jesse walked over to his closet and I saw him reach for a small blue box.
He walked back over to the bed and handed me the box.

"Open it." He demanded.

I opened the box and all I saw was folded white papers, like notes.

"Open them." He said.

I took one of the notes and opened it,
surprised by the ink that was on it.
