Give Up the Ghost

Not so very long ago in a small municipality called Appletown that people rarely bothered to visit, there lived a soap-maker named Alberta Tross. Alby for short.

You know those silly little quirks people? Such as twirling your hair on your finger or sneezing in a very loud, harsh way? Alby had one of those: If she happens to touch a dead thing it comes back to life.

Handy, right?

Until sixty seconds later when something else has to die if she doesn't touch the previously dead thing again. And then it's gone. For good.

Seems simple enough, doesn't it? Not touching dead things...Well, until your sister is a dead thing. Then it's really hard.

So Alby goes to get help from a private investigator known for solving every single case to find her sister's murderer without touching anyone. Coincidentally she met a man who made pies and helped the private investigator solve cases.

What Alby doesn't know is that the Pie Maker named Ned has the same magic finger she does.

But she's going to find out.

**I don't own anything Pushing Daisies. The Tross Family and their story belong to me, though. Cheers.
