Dan opened the bedroom door to see Gemma sat on the windowsill,eyes tearing up. Dan made his way over towards her.
She didn't even look up as he leant against the wall in front of her.
'You alright?' He asked knowing the answer
'Josh doesn't like us being together' She sniffed.
Dan stood staring at her. Why would she care what Josh thinks about her about them. The illness.
He sighed.
'He lied' He admitted
Gemma looked up 'What?'
'He lied' He repeated once more looking at her.
'Why? Why would he do that?' She whimpered.
'To hide the truth' Dan answered trying to stay straight faced.
'The truth,Dan,what's the truth?' She asked
He looked to the floor.
'Dan what is the truth?' She asked standing up in front of him.
He took a breath.
'Someone has been convicted of Austin's murder' He told her
She crashed into his chest,balling her eyes out.
After a fair amount of crying she looked up.
'I have to go' She said walking away from Dan
'Why?' He asked walking after her.
'Turn myself in' She told him.
He clenched her wrist stopping her walking.
'Dan,don't stop me!' She shouted
He grabbed her wrist tighter. Looking to the floor.
'Daan-'
'Don't you get it' He sniffed looking up showing his teary eyes 'You didn't kill him,how could you? why do you need to do this?'
She wiped his tears.
'I-I-I don't know' She stumbled 'I feel guilty'
'You have no right,he ruined your life and you feel guilty'
She hung her head.
'Answer my questions!' He cried
'You know the answer! I don't know why I do this Dan!' She shouted beginning to cry herself.
'Because then I cause no more pain,the illness it-'
Dan locked their lips together.
'Don't I know,I'm sorry I just want to rid the pain of Austin gone'
She smiled shedding her final tear.
'I want him gone too' She admitted 'The illness'
'We can go to the doctors' He told her.
She smiled up at him before hugging him tight.
'Dan,I would love that' She admitted
'Really?!' He asked surprised
'Then you can know more' She informed him
