Wake Me Up and Let Me Know You're Alive
With Heaven Above You, There's Hell Over Me
Kellin woke up in a completely white place. It wasn't a room; it didn't have walls or a ceiling. Everything was just white. Where was he? He looked around and saw someone coming toward him. It was Vic. Kellin ran to him and wrapped his arms around him tightly. Vic smiled and kissed the top of Kellin's head. "Hey Kells," he said softly. "I missed you." He kissed Kellin sweetly on the lips and smiled.
"Vic...where are we?" Kellin asked softly. He didn't really care where he was, all he cared about was being back with Vic, but he couldn't help but feel odd about this place.
"You're transferring, baby. You're coming to be with me in the sky," he explained. "It just takes a while for your eyes to adjust."
Kellin was confused. Was he dead? He couldn't be dead... He looked back at Vic, who was crying.
"It was horrible without you, Kells. I could see you, but you couldn't see me. I was there every second, but I couldn't even talk to you. And when you tried to hang yourself..." Vic got quiet for a moment. "I couldn't bear to see you do that. I screamed and somehow, you heard me. But you looked so scared. I thought I had hurt you."
Kellin kissed Vic gently and smiled. He was so glad to be with his lover, he forgot to question if he was actually dead or not. He cuddled into Vic and stayed there for a while. Vic showed off his wings and flew with Kellin a little bit. Everything was happy until Kellin started to feel sharp waves of pain in his chest. It felt as if someone were shocking him over and over again.
"Vic," he whimpered, and Vic instantly became worried. He cradled Kellin's head gently in his lap, stroking his hair. He knew what was happening. He brushed the hair from Kellin's face and pressed a kiss to his forehead.
"They're trying to take you back...They're trying to take you away from me," Vic said quietly.
Kellin whimpered helplessly and clung to Vic. He didn't want to leave. He wanted to stay with Vic, and fly in eternity with him. The pain became worse and Kellin started to cry. Vic held him tightly and whispered, "If they take you back...Just remember I'm there, okay? I'll always be there, right beside you. No matter what Kells, I'll be there."
Both of the boy's eyes were filled with tears and they kissed one more time. Kellin looked at Vic's face and noticed that he was fading from sight.
"Vic," he whimpered. "I don't wanna go, please don't let me go!"
But it was too late, Vic's beautiful face disappeared from sight completely. Kellin fell back into of darkness. A world without Vic.

Kellin woke up in a hospital screaming and crying. He didn't want to be here. He wanted to go back to the world with Vic.
"Oh, Kellin! You're awake!" his mother cried and hugged him tightly. "We thought we'd lost you!"
Kellin didn't stop crying. Even though he knew Vic was watching, he couldn't help but sob. He wished they had lost him. This world had nothing to offer him but a world of despair and loss. But in the world with Vic, it would be nothing but happiness. Flying through the skies together, always together.
Kellin knew one thing for sure; he'd be together with Vic again. He'd do anything to be with him.
Anything.
"Vic...where are we?" Kellin asked softly. He didn't really care where he was, all he cared about was being back with Vic, but he couldn't help but feel odd about this place.
