Prologue

Dear Harry,

This ring is nowhere near perfect.
It may be too cheesy or girly,
It may not fit your fingers the way it should,
It may seem a little too cliché and naive,
but I made it just for you and me.

We still have a long way to go.
Places to see, things to prove, deadlines to fulfill.
It may not always be easy and it might bend us along the way,
and when you do bend and you feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders,
always remember that I’m always here with you.
No matter how far we may be,
No matter how much we may fight and how angry and frustrated we may get.

It’s amazing how life turns out to be exactly how you think it would never turn out to be. Just when you thought you knew where your life is headed, knew the person who would be there with you, life pulled the floor off your feet leaving you falling into the unknown and asking yourself the inevitable question; why?

A lot of people had left him, leaving holes inside his chest and why? Harry never understood.
