Self-Injury Awareness Day is March first. I have dealt with this in the past and have struggled with the thoughts between recoveries. This is a series of snapshots dealing with mental illness and self injury. Please be aware of possible triggers.

If you harm yourself, please try to get help. There is help and people to go to. If your parents aren't going to help, tell a counselor or go to a hospital if you're an adult. They have to treat you if you're in immediate danger.

Whatever you do, know you are not alone and there is is support for you somewhere and that we can be loved with our scars.
