Chapter 4
Jacks POV:
The next morning at school i was in the office, i was copying a worksheet and the machine was running impatiently slow. Rose Walked in and picked up a big box, she saw me and waved and i waved back. She took the box and started to leave and i decided it was my chance to be a gentleman and get her to like me.
"Hey Rose can i help you with the box?" i asked, she had a big bag with her as well so it looked like a lot
"I got it, thanks though" she said following her into the hall
"Really?, because i could help. It looks insanely heavy" i said
"Its fine Jack. Plus dont you have somthing your doing?" she asked pointing to the office and the secretary was watching us
"Jack you have papers in the copier" Eileen said, shes the annoying bitchy takes life to seriously type of secretary. I find her very irritating
"Oh Eileen quit your bitching, its predicate worksheets. Nobodys gonna take them. I'll be gone for like 5 minutes" i said and she glared at me and went back to work
"Jack im fine" Rose said
"Please i wanna help" i said
"Fine" she said handing me the box
"What the hells in here?" i asked
"Romeo and Juliet books. Lots of them. Hard cover" she said
"Wow" i said and followed her to her class
We went upstairs to her room and i was dying, these books are heavy as fuck and these stairs make it worse!. We got in the room and put down the box on her desk. I've never been in here, its nothing like my class its very teacher like.
"Thanks Jack" she said
"Mhmm" i said
"Would you be able to help put them away?" she asked, there was like 50 books in that box
"Of course" i said as she ripped open the box, i looked out into the hall and Alex walked by and then back tracked and came in
"Oh hey, so this is where you ran off to" Alex said leaning against the door
"Yep" i said
"Eileens looking for you, shes pissed" he said
"She needs to get out of my business dude" i said
"Yeah, shes being a straight up bitch today" he said
"Bitch is on the rag" i said and he laughed
"Totally" he said
"Well im helping Rose. Im sure Eileen will be fine" i said
"Oh really?. Well i can take over, you dont want Eileen getting to pissed. She might destroy your classwork" he said
"No im good" i said
"No, Jack you should go. Eileen seems pissed. Alex can help" Rose said
"Exactly. Have fun Jacky" Alex said coming over and patting me on the back and i sighed and left
I went back and ignored Eileen and her crazy ranting and grabbed my shit and left. I went back to my class and wrote the DOL on the board, i just wrote something about a cat and a boat. When my first period came in a little while later i got down to business.
"Okay kids you know what to do, get out your DOL notebooks and work on this sentence" i said tapping a marker against the dry erase board
"Why do we do these things. I did them in like elementary school" a girl named Lana asked
"Because you have to. Its not that bad" i said
"Fine" she sighed
"Okay now after you finish you all will work on this worksheet. Then you will split into groups of 3 and work on the stuff out of these books" i said passing out the worksheet and i tossed my marker at the books to show them what i was talking about
"Do we get to pick groups?" Jenny asked
"Sure" i said and there was a knock on the door and i looked over and it was Rian
"Hello Mr. Barakat" Rian said
"Whats up Dawsons creek?" i asked
"Fuck you. And nothing, i was just in the office and the principal said that he wanted me to come tell you that you in deep shit" he said and the whole class went 'ooooo' and i glared at them then went and pulled Rian into the hall
"What happened?" i asked
"Eileen told him you left papers in the copier un attended. Guess you cant do that shit, basically your on detention duty today" he said
"Fuck!. That fucking sneaky little bitch!" i said
"Have fun" Rian laughed and i went back to my class
I spent the rest of the day doing what i normally do. At the end of the day i had to stay until like four, i hate doing the detention stuff. After i left school i went over to Alexs house and he was reading lots of essays.
"Hello" i said
"Hey. Heard you had detention duty" he said
"Yep, pure torture" i said
"I bet. So why would you ditch your stuff for Rose?" he asked
"To help her, she looked like she needed it. Plus i thought it would help me in trying to get her to like me" i said
"Hah! i knew it!. Dude im telling you, ive got more of a chance then you do!" he said
"You have as much of a chance as Zack" i said
"Zack doesnt know her" he said
"Exactly. Hes got zero chance, so do you!" i said
"Fuck you, suck my dick" he laughed
"Nahhh, i dont have faith that you shower daily" i said and he flipped me off

Hahahahaha, i love this one :P. By the way DOL is daily oral language, its stuff i used to do in like elementary school or middle school. Its just correcting sentences :).comment! :)
