Off With Her Head

It seemed like I walked forever in these woods. All I have is my duffle bag with clothes and my pet kitten, Cheshire. I tried to keep him warm by keeping him in one of the pockets I have on the inside of my jacket.

It was dark and raining when I finally found a road and traveled along. I soon found a sign the reads; "Welcome to Storybrooke." I never heard of this place, but maybe I could find a motel and stay there for a while. I start running before Cheshire gets any colder.

I start to see lights in the distance. It was hard to depict in the rain what the lights were from whether it be a car or a house. I head toward the lights anyway.

As I got closer I see that it was a huge house. I walk up to it wondering if I should knock on the door. I'm a stranger, no one would just let a stranger into their home. But, Cheshire was cold and hungry. I walk around the corner and up the steps that lead to the front door. I ring the doorbell once and took one step back. I saw a human silhouette look through the window, then opened the door. It was a man. The man looked almost shocked to see me.
