Lucas has always been well-liked and popular, although not always the easiest person to get along with. Despite this, girls have always fawned over him, much to Lucas' ignorance. When finally told by his best friend about his apparently unknown charm, Lucas becomes aware and uses it to actually go on a date with the girl he has always tried to flirt with. This becomes complicated when a new girl enters school and surprises him at every turn. In the mean time, Lucas' best friend, Carter, tries to be supportive of his friend while having to balance the troubles he has not only at home, but in his own mind as well.
