Prologue
This is not a story about finding true love or happily ever after or some cliché that everybody seems to crave lately.
This is not a story about finding yourself or having some deep revelation about yourself or removing the mask that’s been hiding your true self for years.
This is not a story about living the life that was planned out for you by some other people when you were born, or following the crowd, or doing whatever makes other people happy. This is not a story about living in a black-and-white world and taking it upon yourself to paint everything in color. This is not a story simply about the shallow, material things in our lives like coffee and brand-new charcoal pencils or whether or not you’re wearing the right clothes to impress people who could care less, like that cute guy in your photography class or that popular girl who you can never seem to please. This is not a story about wanting to be somebody else.
This is not a typical story about a typical group of friends living typical lives.
This is a story about being Unusual.
