Euphoria

I had spent my days looking through window panes
Hoping to reside in the sky where the stars play
Instead I was left alone with nowhere to go
Hoping nobody ever feels what I've always known

Tomorrow's dreams will remain today's hopes
And that is how it will go for the rest of these days
I will watch others through the window glass
Wishing that this pane's pain will come to pass

I have tried to make friends but found no luck
They all walk past me as if I never even existed
Everyone in my life only seems to go away
All of them go away. Only the stars stay

My only true friends reside up in the sky
The only ones that understand who I am
Someday I will know what all the stars know
Someday I will be the one looking into the window
