Euphoria

I have seen those that I love pass before my eyes
Knowing that they will always reside inside of me
I was left alone, but found friends in the sky
Who had guided me along in my life

Yesterday's hopes have become today's reality
I have gone from my life to reside in the sky
Though I may be gone my shadow still lives on
Through the children who have created friendships and bonds

I have joined my friends among the stars
I feel like I belong. I feel so happy
Everyone in my life may have gone away
But now I watch them from the stars where I stay

A star has fallen but it was quickly replaced
A new bright star shines in its place
I now know what all the stars know
I now look from the other side of the window
