Marie’s POV
After the kiss, Bill and I walked home silently. I was in a very confused state. I glanced over at Bill and saw him smiling at me.
“What?”
“I have a question.”
“Bitten Sie weg”
“Was that your first kiss?” He asked, stopping and sitting on a patch of grass of the local park. I sighed and hesitated to answer him and sat down.
“N-no.” I mumbled. And looked at him as he placed his hand in mine. I smiled weakly at this and looked up at a slightly confused Bill.
Bill’s POV
“But I thought you weren’t one to talk to boys?” I asked quietly. I really did like her, it disappoints me that I’m not her first kiss. Who was it? I wonder.
“I-I’m not.” She said and glanced at the passer bying children and fiddling with her bracelet.
“Who was-your first kiss?” I asked carefully and examined her reaction after I asked. She hesitated and sighed.
“Bill, I don’t want you to get mad.” She mumbled.
“wurde nie ich” I said and cupped her rosy cheek in my hand and gently forced her to look at me.
“Okay, it was… Tom” She said and looked down. I felt my heart rip in two. I’ve only know this girl for four months and yet I’d fallen for her so fast. I was actually a little angered towards my older twin, he always got the girl.
“Oh, so you like Tom.” I said weakly and removed my hand from her cheek and unlaced our fingers. She flinched as I did so.
“Not only Tom.” She said, barely audible. So, this gave me little hope.
“What do you plan on doing?”
“I-I don’t know, I’m not going to just pick” She said and stood up and began to walk again. I followed after to her caught up with her pace.
“Come on Marie, you can’t just kiss us both and pretend nothing happened.” I said. She sighed in frustration.
“I know that Bill. But I don’t want you two fighting.” She snapped. She was right, I hated fighting with my brother more than anything in the world, it pained me. No matter what it was about.
“We should talk this over with Tom.” I said stopping again, sitting at a bench and pulling out my phone and dialing my brothers number. She sighed and sat down next to me. Five minutes later my brother arrived and sat next to Marie.
“was ist los?” He asked as he saw Marie put her head in her hands. I rubbed her back gently and looked up at him.
“shes mag uns beide.”
“Ich kannte dieses Genie” He said.
“I’m just saying! God.” I said and looked down at her. She sighed and looked up.
“anke ist am Schwingen” She muttered and walked away from us.
“You kissed her didn’t you?” Tom asked. I nodded and sighed.
“You did too. We’re screwed.” I said.
“Wieviel Sie mögen sie?” He said.
“I-ive completely fallen for her, I don’t know brother, I’ve never liked someone so much before, and yet I’ve only known her for four months. How about you?” I said and glanced at him.
“I like her, but I haven’t fallen for her. I already know that you were thinking I get all the girls. I know its true, I mean I love you bro, If you really like her then I say you should go for it.”
“But she likes you too.”
“nicht soviel wie Sie zwar, wettete ich. Gerechtes Geben es ein Versuch.” He said and patted me on the shoulder with an encouraging smile. I nodded and got up and went to the swings to her. She was swinging lightly and singing a song softy, from what I made out it was Reden, I smiled and took place in the one next her.
“Marie, I have something to ask you.” I smiled and she looked up at me with curiosity dancing in her beautiful eyes. Once she saw my smile, she smiled as well, though just a little one. I took a breath and looked her in the eyes.
”Möchten Sie meine Freundin sein?”
