Public Enemy

Being a member of an American Indian tribe, I was labeled an enemy of the United States because of the anger of my Principal Chief, who declared war on the United States while I was traveling abroad.

I have written this according to my memory and have added in dialogue that I have had with real people. Events in which I was not present are written as I understand them to have happened.

    A description of my first day in the field and a summary of following events.

    An account of the events occurring within the Central Band of Cherokee
  5. Impeachment
    A summarization of the investigations against Chief White and his ultimate impeachment.
  6. Revelation at Lunch
    My own thoughts and feelings when I found out what had happened within my tribal government.
