Please Don't Take me Home

I ran out of Kellin's room into the waiting room of the hospital.
No one was there but Jamie, Mike and Tony. They wouldn't let Matty come to the hospital.
Tony was leaning against the wall next to mike. Jamie wasn't there, he probably went to the bathroom or something.
Which was good because I was crying.
"Tony, juro por Dios que te apuñalo usted." I mumbled. I only speak in Spanish if I'm talking to relatives, my parents or if I'm pissed off.
And right now I was pissed.
"Vic, are o--" I cut Tony off by pining him against the hospital wall.
"WHY DID YOU DO THAT TO HIM?!" I screamed.
"Whoa, Vic, no need to get violent." Tony smirked. I slammed him up against the wall again. Tony only muttered 'ow' in response.
Tony pushed me off of him.
"Tony, what did he even do to you guys?" I asked, I was still crying.
"...He reminded us of Austin." Mike mumbled. Tony nodded in agreement.
"Oh," I said "But not every single person is like Austin, yeah sure Austin was a dick, but just because Kellin reminds you of him doesn't mean you have to be a dick to him."
Tony opened his mouth to say something but closed it right away.
"Vic, we're sorry..." Mike said.
I didn't say anything.
"Go home, Mike, take Tony with you." I didn't want them at the hospital right now.
"What?" Mike said "Vic we said that we're sorry, but are you really gonna spend the whole night here alone?"
"Yes." And with that I walked back down the hall to Kellin's room.
I passed Jamie on the way back.
"Hey," he said, he put his hand on my shoulder so I couldn't walk past him "How's Kellin?"
"Fine."
He nodded "Okay." He released my shoulder and walked past me.
I walked into Kellin's room.
He was crying.
"Kellin are oka-" he cut my off
"W-w-w-why would you sa-sa-sa-say that about me?" He screamed.
What?
"What are you talking about?" I moved so I was standing at the end of his bed.
"Yo-yo-yo-you made fun of my st-st-st-stutter and that I struggle with self harm to your b-b-boyfriend!" He slammed his fists on the bed making the bed shake a little.
Why would I make fun of him about dealing with self harm? Mike and I both had delt with it.
He was sobbing now.
WHAT THE FUCK DO I DO
I decided to do what I did to Mike when he needed to take a chill pill.
I sat down in the chair next to the bed. I held onto his left arm tight.
"Kellin, please stop crying." Kellin struggled to get his arm out of my grip, but I held on, "I would never make a joke about that, believe me."
He nodded.
"You might as w-well leave." He mumbled
"I couldn't leave even if I tried, Darling. I love you too much."
WHY THE FUCK DID I JUST SAY THAT.
He stopped crying and his jaw dropped.
I decided to laugh, "I'll be back in a second."
I walked out of the room and shut the door.
I took a deep breath and ran down the hall to the bathroom. I ran inside and shut the door, I slid onto the floor and it my face in my hands and started to cry.
Why did I have to say that?
AND AT THAT VERY MOMENT TOO
I took out my phone and texted Matty, he can at least give me some sort of advice.
V: So I kinda fucked up again with Kellin...
M: Oh shit what the fuck did you do?
V:...I said that I loved him, by accident
M: Did you mean it when you said it?
V: Yeah, that's the thing tho
M: NO THATS PERF
V: How?
M: Vic, his eyes always light up when you're around him, he also stutters more.
V: Okay but if he does like me, what should I do?
M: IDK SON TRY BEING NICE?
V: I'll try it...
I shut my phone off and went over tot he sink and washed my face off.
I opened the door of the bathroom and started to walk down the hall to Kellin's room.
"Victor!' Someone said, I looked up to see a doctor, "I was just in Kellin's room, he'll be out of here on Tuesday."
"Awesome."
"And, on Monday we're gonna put the bandage over his nose."
"Ok."
"But can I ask you for a favor?" I nodded "Can you please stay with him the next few days, his Mom refuses to come to the hospital, and she said have one of his friends stay there, you wouldn't mind staying with Kellin?" the doctor asked
"Not at all!" I smiled.
"Okay then, have a good night Victor." The doctor walked passed me and I continued back to Kellin's room.
I walked into the room and sat into the chair next to the bed and took his wrist into my hand.
We sat in silence for a while, Kellin was staring off into space and I watched him.
I checked my watch.
11:06 P.M.
"Kellin, you should try and fall asleep," I whispered "It's almost 11."
He leaned over and looked out the window, he sighed then sank back into his bed.
A nurse walked in and shut the lights off for us.
Thank god, cause I did not feel like getting up right now.
I moved my hand to his and rubbed the back of his hand.
"Night Kellin." I squeezed his hand.
I leaned over and kissed him on the cheek.
I could feel him get hot when i did that,making me smile.
I sat back into the chair, not taking my hand away from his, and I eventually dozed off.

I woke up in the chair next to Kellin's bed.
I rubbed my eyes and looked at my watch.
9:46 A.M.
i checked my phone and saw I had a text from Matty
M:Hey, you stayed at the hospital all night?
V:Yeah
M:I can stop by at noon so you can go home and get clothes and stuff
V:Thanks, man.
I shut my phone off and put it in my back pocket. My stomach made a weird noise.
I guessed that means I need something to eat.
I left Kellin's room and went down to the 'FOOD COUNTER' in the hospital.
Everything was expensive so I bought the cheapest stuff there, Orange juice, a muffin and an apple.
The total was $7.00, I luckily had that much on my pocket.
They let me take the food up to the room on the tray.
When I got back into the room, Kellin was till asleep.
I stood at the end of the bed.
He looked calm for once.
Too bad, he had to eat.
"Morning, Kellin!"I said forcing a smile.
He blinked a few times before sitting up in bed.
"What's on the t-t-tray?" he asked.
"Well!" I put the tray on his lap. "There's orange juice, cause orange juice is fucking delicious, a blueberry muffin, and an apple, that I'm gonna eat." I took the apple form the tray and bit into it.
I sat down into the chair.
"T-t-t-thanks." he said
I watched him eat. He ate the muffin first.
"Matty said he'll be coming by in a few hours."I took another bite out of my apple, "And he's gonna stay with you so for a few minutes so I can go home, take a shower and change."
"Wait," He turned and looked at me "You didn't l-l-leave last n-night?"
I shook my head "Yup, stayed in this chair all night," I took another bite out of the apple "Since your my mom never showed up."
"I don't really ex-ex-expect her to be here at a-a-a-all." he drank some of his juice. "She'll be home, and she'll y-y-yell at me for being in the h-h-h-hospital."
"You'll be fine, Kellin."
"Ho-ho-hopefully" He mumbled and he ate some more of the muffin,

I yawned.
"Y-y-y-you can take a n-nap if you want too, V-V-V-Vic." Kellin offered.
"No it's fine Kellin," I rubbed my eyes, trying to stay awake "Matty should be up here in a few minutes."
Kellin leaned back into the bed.
I rubbed my eyes again.
I looked over at Kellin's arm.
It was completely covered in scars.
I took his hand in mine again. He smiled
"I've never seen you smile. Don't worry tho, you have a cute smile."
It honestly was.
He smiled bigger at my compliment.
The door opened up and Matty walked in with a giant bear in his hands.
Oh my god what's wrong with him.
I let go of Kellin's hand and stood up.
"Hey Kellin!" Matty said standing on the other side of the bed.
He put the bear on Kellin's bed.
"Dude," I pointed at the bear "That's a pretty fucking big bear."
I saw Kellin smile again.
"I thought it would be a nice gift!" Matty said.
"Whatever dude," I smiled at that stupid bear "I'll be back in like 2 hours."
I walked out of the room.

Mike had driven back with Tony and Jamie so I had to walk back, which wasn't so bad, my house was only a few blocks from the hospital.
When I finally got home I opened the door, and walked into my room.
"Vic! Estás en casa! Usted debe tomar una ducha, muchacho!" My mom called form the kitchen.
"Bien, Mamá."I called back
I sighed and went into the bathroom to take a shower like she asked.
