The idea for this story came from Taylor Swift's song "Red", so she gets credit there. I do not own the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Carolina Hurricanes, Sidney Crosby or the Crosby family, James Neal and the Neal family, or Jordan Staal or the Staal family.
I do, however, own the original characters and the plot of the one-shots.
