Thirty Three

Bella had fallen asleep in her hospital bed, curled up in a little ball with Paige behind her, wrapped around extremely close. The two of them were holding hands and each of them had a slight smile on their faces. Rian, Jack and Zack had retreated back to the waiting room. The three of them had refused outright to go home, promising Bella that they would stay no matter what. Jack's Twitter had exploded with more excitable Tweets, whilst Zack and Rian had taken it upon themselves to inform their fan-base of the new addition to the 'All Time Low' family. Fans had replied to numerous Tweets, expressing their happiness and joy, getting over excited. Everyone had asked to see a picture of baby Isobel and the boys had replied to a few of their fans, saying that it would be Alex and Bella's decision whether they did it or not.

But Alex and Bella hadn't even begun to think of it. Alex had taken photos of Bella holding their darling little girl, but he didn't want anyone else to see them. They were his and he would treasure them forever. Everybody had had their photo taken with baby Isobel, until Bella had missed the feeling of her new born baby too much, begging to have her back. And knowing what Bella could be like when it came to tantrums, the boys were eager to hand back the baby.

But now Bella was asleep. Having sung so sweetly to Isobel, both herself and Paige had fallen asleep.

Alex walked over to the crib in which Isobel was laying, eyes wide open and staring up at him. He wiped his face with his sleeve and lowered his arms to pick up his precious little angel. She cooed slightly as he brought her close to his chest, placing a kiss on her forehead. Her skin was extremely smooth and now he realised where the saying "smooth as a baby's bottom" came from.

She had the smallest lock of dark blonde, almost brown hair on the top of her head, and green eyes that sparkled and lit up whenever she saw any member of the family. The Nurses had come in to keep an eye on Bella and Isobel, and Isobel had cried and lost that sparkle. But as soon as anyone, whether it be a member of the band, her Father, her Mother or her Godmother, had picked her up.. the sparkle had returned and she had cooed for them, showing a simple sign of affection and appreciation.

Alex held his little girl's hand as she wrapped her hand around his thumb, holding ever so tightly. He couldn't help but smile at the cliche moment and how happy it made him. Hell, he didn't care if everything about this moment was cliche, he was loving every single second of it. And he knew that he wouldn't change anything about it. Alex rocked gently from side to side and walked over to the window, that lit up the whole room.

It was now early morning; Bella had been up all night. Nobody had any idea of the time or date, but they all knew one thing was for certain.

Everybody would always remember the same date and same time. The details that had brought them closer together, not only as a band but as friends. Love, the strongest bond of all.
