Love Isn't Always Fair

Brooke's POV:

"OPEN THE DAMN DOOR, NOW!" My dad yelled through my bedroom door.

I think now it's a good time to introduce myself. Hi, I'm Brooke. My full name is Brookelle Marcie Reed, I am 18 years old.

My dad has abused me since my mom passed away. I was only 4 back then. I cut since I was 8 years old. I have Jet Black hair and I look like what people would call 'emo'.

Anyways... after my mom died, my dad became an alcoholic. He used to go to a club every single night. He abused me physically, mentally, and uhm... sexually.

Well enough about me.

"OPEN THE DOOR BROOKELLE!" My dad yelled while pounding on the door.

I just stayed quiet. I put my ear plugs in my ears and listened to 'Die For You' by BVB.

Black Veil Brides is my favorite band, they are the only reason I'm still alive.

'I bleed for you.

BAM!

I looked up and saw my dad, furious.

I stood up.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU OPEN THE DOOR WHEN I TOLD YOU TO!" He yelled.

"I didn't hear you through my music." I lied.

"LIAR!" He yelled and punched me across the face.

"I'M NOT LYING!" I yelled at him. HUGE mistake.

He grabbed my hair and threw me across the room. He walked over to me and banged my face against the wooden floor. I felt a warm liquid sliding down my face.

He then kicked my stomach and slapped me across the face.

"Hope you learned your lesson. I'm going out." He walked down stairs and slammed the front door.

I groaned and stood up and walked to my bathroom.

I grabbed my blade and slit it across my wrists 5 times.

I turn the faucet and let the cold water run.

I was used to it for 10 years.

I also washed the blood off my face. then dried my arms and face.

I don't understand him, he always does this.

I walked off the bathroom and cleaned the blood from the ground.

There is only one thing to do and that is...

Runaway.
