The Confession
Raven's pov
When we came back from eating I saw Beast Boy run FROM video games. That's something that never happens, he's usually running TO them. I leave Cyborg, Robin, and Starfire talking or should I say arguing about what they were gonna do today. I'm thinking and hoping Starfire forgot about the mall. I walk to my room and when I walk in the first thing I see is a folded white piece of paper on my bed. I walk over to it and picked it up. I opened it and read it. I plopped on my bed. Beast Boy likes me... I didn't know if I should be happy or worried. I've never felt like this before. I have butterflies in my stomach. THAT NEVER HAPPENS!! I groaned. My emotions are so dangerous and I can't afford to hurt anyone. I was so shocked this was happening. I walked out of my room and walked down the hallway. I stopped in front of his door. Right when I was about to knock, he opened the door. 'Alright Raven. You can do this. Just don't blow anything or anyone up.' I told my self. We stared at each other for a couple minutes. Clearly neither one of us knew what to say. "Raven I-" "Beast Boy I-" we said each others names at the same time. "You go first." We say. I was silent so he could talk. "Raven, I'm- I don't know what I was thinking. I'm so so-"
"Beast Boy I'm not mad at you." I said cutting him off. "Then what-do..do you like me?" He asked. I blushed and this time he saw it. "Umm yeah.." I admitted. He took a step towards me slowly. 'I can't believe I'm doing this.' I thought to myself as I threw my arms around him. He seemed shocked at first, but hugged me back. I let go and took a deep breath. 'Keep your emotions under control Raven' I reminded myself. "Raven? Are you ok?" Beast Boy asked concerned. A tear rolled down my cheek.
