Cat

As the blazing sun set in the horizon and the stars were now visible in the sky. That is when Londyn met Bane on the rooftop.
It became a routine between the pair. After training and Londyn showering she would absently follow him to the rooftop. Now it was expected from Bane to see the girl next to him as she dangled her legs.
Bane gazed down at the girl.

"You were exceptionally well in training today" he commented.

Londyn beamed up at him. "Thank you"

Bane chest rumbled "You might be able to take a few of my men" he smiled under his contraption.

"I don't want to find out" Londyn lips turned down in a frown.

"You will defend yourself won't you?" His brows furrowing.

"Of course. I would try" she murmured.

"You are not the one for confrontation" Bane stated meeting her eyes.

Londyn nodded her head. Bane turned his face away displeased.
It left a unsettling feeling to Bane just knowing the girl was so defenseless and fragile.
As the days began to grow longer Bane began to realize his was glad he was protecting the girl.

"I have a question" Londyn chirped.

"Of course you do" Bane replied.

"It's expected by now" Londyn grinned.

Bane nodded agreeing and watched Londyn run her fingers through her dark hair.

"How long can you go without your mask?" She lowered her gaze from Bane.

"I suspect three to four hours" he informed her.

"Isn't there other ways?" Londyn wondered.

"Of course" he voice boomed against the walls. "The contraption throws off my opponents"

Londyn blinked and burst into laughter. Bane eyes crinkled at his sides. "I can't believe that" she laughed.

"I have the advantage" he stated.

Londyn nodded her head weakly "What are the other possibilities?"

Banes lips twitched. "I can shove tubes of morphine down my throat to subside the pain" he mused "The best option besides my contraption is taking the substance through the veins"

Londyn nodded taking in his words. Londyn began to think of the possibility of Bane using another source to subside his pain.
Excitement flowed through her.

"You can try-"

"Absolutely not"

Londyn shoulders slumped disappointed. "At least try" she reason.

"What would be the point?" He raised a divided brow.

Londyn pressed her lips together and shrugged. Bane snickered at the girl.

"I am use to the contraption"

Londyn nodded and decided to let the topic go. She sighed and lifted her gaze to peer up at the stars.
The sky was filled with sparkling stars. The night sky held so much beauty to Londyn. The darkness welcomed her.

"We will train now"

Londyn was leading the way toward the end of the rooftop. She turned her head frowning.

"I don't think-"

Londyn was lifted up mid-sentence. She shrieked of laughter as Bane held her in his arms.

"It was not a question"

Londyn sighed dramatically. "Bane-" she complained but was cut sort.

Londyn body hit the pavement as soon as she started speaking. She peered up at him, her mouth agape.

"Do not complain"

Londyn clenched her jaw together. Bane laughter escaped his mask.
Whenever Londyn express anger it amused Bane. It was as if she was a angry kitten to Bane.

"I am tired" she huffed.

Bane lowered his face and stared deeply into her green orbs. "That is unfortunate"
He grinned.

Londyn crossed her arms over her chest and glared forward.

"Child"

Londyn stood up and raised her arm swinging toward him. "I am not a child"

"That is what a child would say" he rose a brow.

Bane caught her arm gracefully and pulled the girl toward him. Londyn was pressed against his chest.
Bane brushed Londyn hair aside and smirked as she shivered against his touch.
Bane pressed his hand against her neck.

"Never expose your weakness" He murmured.

Then he jabbed his index finger into her collarbone. Londyn gasped and fell to her knees.

"Pressure points" He informed her smug.

Londyn rubbed her hand over her collar bone. "May I try?" She smirked.

Bane spread his hands before him "You may try". The challenge was deep in his blue eyes.

Bane bent to grasp the girls hand. Londyn saw it was her opportunity. She jolted forward wrapping her leg around his shoulder pulling herself forward.

"Ahaha" she said. "Pressure point" she murmured pressing her finger against his own collar bone.

Bane laughter echoed against the whole rooftop. Bane shifted his weight and the girl fell onto her side. "You cannot drop me"

"I tried" she raised her chin.

"That you did" He gazed at her intently. Londyn stood wincing as a scrap was viable on her side.

"It is merely a scratch" Bane shook his head.

"Im not invisible like yourself" Londyn snapped.

Bane took ahold of the girl forearm and pulled her closer. Bane placed his hand against her cheek and ran his fingers along her cheek bone.
Londyn caught her breath and stared wide eyed at Bane.

"You" his contraption spoke slowly to her "May try"

Londyn shook her head smiling. She tried to hold back her laughter.
Londyn met his eyes. "I don't want to be like you"

"One Bane is enough for Gothem City"

Bane grasp became tighter and he peered down at the girl taking in her green orbs.
"But you see" the corner of his lips raised "There are more of me. Where I come from"

Londyn met his gaze and lifted her lips in to a smile "Your one of a kind"

Bane brows furrowed and grasp became limp. Bane never received adoration.
Londyn held so much respect for the man.

"Sir-"

Bane head snap into the direction of Barsad. Absently he placed Londyn behind him.
Londyn peered around him confused.

"You have a visitor" Barsad informed Bane.

"You may bring them forth"

Barsad nodded and ushered away. Londyn slowly began to move to Banes side. A hand shot out and landed against her chest.

"Stay at my side" Bane glared.

Londyn nodded quickly. She wasn't planing on leaving his side.
A figure made its way through the darkness quickly.
Heels clicked against the pavement. The figured stepped into the light.
Londyn withheld her groan to see the familiar face. Londyn dealt with this women many times during her work at the firm. The women held the reputation of being the cat thief or cat women.
The media went over board on her nick name Londyn often thought.
The women wore a tight black suite and walked swiftly forward.
Her brown hair laid straight against her back and her brown eyes met Londyn.

"Hello" she purred.

Londyn faced one of Gothem famous crooks. A jewel thief. A thief in all matters. Since she would take what ever item was in her hands.
The women nodded her head toward Bane and kept her distance from him. Londyn didn't blame her.

Londyn lips raised into a smug smile.

"Hello Selina Kyle"
