When their plane landed and they walked out they were met by Alice of course. Alice ran over and gave her a hug, Lexi grabbed Alice’s hand “Can we make a pit stop?,” Lexi. “Where to?,” Alice “A tattoo shop!,” Lexi. Alice nodded, and they headed to a tattoo shop in town before going back to Forks. Lexi showed them the packs tattoo by lifting up Jakes small sleeve, and she showed them the Cullen’s crest on Alice’s choker necklace. Lexi:” This one (Cullen’s) behind my left ear, the other on the right!” The tattoo artist nodded and began work, Jake grabbed her hand in case she needed it. “Awe thanks Jake, but I’m good,” Lexi “Are you sure?,” Jake. “Yes babe, I’m sure. You need to not worry so much Jake,” Lexi. “Did you just call me babe?,” Jake. “You have said it a time or two over the week…,” Lexi. He asked her again and she just turned bright red and looked away which made him smile. Alice liked both the tattoos when they were done, then they headed back to the Cullen’s house. Both Jake and Lexi continued hanging out more and more, they hung out with the Pack, same always checking on her to see when or if the change to wolf form would happen soon. Emrby always seemed eager when he heard Lexi would be hanging out. When she saw the Pack she smiled, Lexi:” Guess What!?” Embry:” What?” She moved her hair and showed them the Pack tattoo behind her right ear. Sam:” Where’s the Cullens’?” She moved her hair to the other side and showed him that it was behind her left ear.
One day when Lexi was at the Cullens house hanging out after school, she remembered something Jessica thought and became frustrated. Alice was watching her, she saw Lexi calm herself down better then before, but she got angry again. When she opened her eyes, Alice gasped. Alice:” Carlisle!” Carlisle came bursting into the room from nowhere, he looked at Alice. Alice(whispered):” Look at her eyes!” Carlisle turned to face Lexi and he saw her eyes. He checked her over quickly, Carlisle:” Amazing! You look like a newborn vampire right now!” Lexi:” I’m sorry, I’m just angry right now. I remembered something Jessica had thought earlier that just made me mad.” Carlisle:” Most interesting. I want to see something, can you make yourself scared?” Lexi looked at him, she tried thinking of something to make herself scared or sad but couldn’t. Edward:” Think about Jake fighting a vampire and how he could get badly hurt.” When she did, Carlisle, Edward and Alice saw her eyes change from red to lime green to bright lavender purple. Alice:” She seems to have more control of her abilities too.” Carlisle:” It seems that her emotions have the power to change her eye color. Mostly when she’s angry and frustrated where her eyes are a prominent resemblance to that of a newborn. I don’t know if the other emotions will become stronger where you can tell but at least we know when she’s angry!” Edward:” Do you think we’d be able to use that to help us?” Carlisle:” Maybe but it’s also up to her when the time comes.” Edward nodded, he glanced over at her for a moment and she nodded.
Lexi ran off into the woods to find Jasper, when she did she gave him a kiss on the cheek. He was at her spot she goes to when she needs to be alone and think. Lexi:” Jazz, I don’t know what to do. I wish there were two of me that way I could have you and Jake, which would mean no one gets hurt.” Jasper:” All I can tell you is to just listen to your heart and listen carefully, it knows what you really want.” With that he moved closer to her on the rocks, she looked up at him and saw him leaning in. Their lips touched and when they pulled away both of them were smiling, he smiled because he could feel her heart racing. Jasper sees her hand and arm start to shake, Jasper:” Um are you ok?” “Jake, something’s wrong. I feel sick and my arms are shaking badly,” Lexi. “I’m grabbing the bag, I informed Sam, we’re on our way to you,” Jake. Lexi looked up at Jasper, Lexi:” Uh….Go…Away Jasper. I don’t want you to be here when this happens.” He went to touch her hand but he could feel the heat coming from her before he brought his hand close. Jasper didn’t leave however, not until Jake and Sam were there, and Lexi looked back at him and told him to go again. Jake held her and told Sam she’s really burning up. Sam:” It’ll be soon, the trembling is still only her upper body right now.” Jake watched her closely, he heard the pain in her voice and remembered how he felt. All of a sudden she rolled over onto her knees and hands, as he watched her shake uncontrollably then within a minute, before his and Sam’s eyes, was the white wolf that she had showed them

She fell after the first few times, then after the first few steps, but before Jake could tell her to try again she shook her head and seemed to focus on it. After a few more tries she got it, she looked approvingly at Jack who smiled, she walked over to him and nuzzled his hand. Jake:” Wow, you’re even more beautiful then what you showed me!” She sat there looking at him, Jake realizing what he just said looked away. She moved to get him to look at her, Jake:” Wow, you’re bigger then expected!” Jake told her that there’s a way you can tell how big your wolf will be, and although she’s a little taller then Leah, he thought she’d be as big as Leah, but she’s just shy of being as tall as he is when he’s in his wolf form. Jake:” Want to try and run? You know, to see how fast you can go.” She bowed her head to him and he smirked, then transformed into his rusty wolf she loved seeing so much. “I’m not an Alpha, Sam is,” Jake “True, but you are an Alpha it runs in your blood,” Lexi. “Ya so, it’s in your blood too!,” Jake “True, maybe that’s why you, same and I are bigger then the others. Because he is the Alpha of the pack, and both you and I have it in our bloodline?,” Lexi. “Maybe, I guess I never thought of that. Ok, lets see what you can do babe,” Jake. They began running, Jake picking up the bag for Lexi in his mouth. He sort of pushed her so she ran faster, and they were the same speed which he was glad even if he didn’t want to read it. “So how do you turn back?,” Lexi “The fist try is always the hardest and longest. It’ll take some time, I find that if you keep focusing on it it’ll happen just at a different time. It’ll come easy after because you’ll do it without even trying,” Jake. “I feel so Alice and Free!,” Lexi. She knew he was laughing at her and she didn’t care, he took her down a path were the vampires had been before. “Hey, I can smell Esme and Carlisle,” Lexi. “I know, we think they stink but since you’re art vampire too, you probably don’t,” Jake. “Not much, the only one that smells bad to me is Edward and Bella sometimes. “That was really gentlemanly of Jake, closing his eyes so he sees nothing yet that is. I’m in love with him, and the rusty color wolf he transforms into.”
Jake came up near her walking, still in his wolf form, “Thanks Jake. So anytime I want I can now go into wolf form?,” Lexi. Jake bowed his head, “Mostly when you’re angry too,” Jake. She shook her head and said nothing, “How about we get the others to come out here and show them how you really look as a wolf?,” Jake. She nodded and he went behind a big bush and came back out holding his hand out for hers. When the pack and Emily came back into the woods Lexi was on Jake’s back. Paul:” What now, do we need to see her show off?” Jake:” Oh just shut up Mutt.” He smirked knowing Paul might get mad and go to attack him. Jake kept egging him on, finally Paul couldn’t control his anger and grabbed Jake. Lexi who had run off into the woods, came back running and jumping over a huge log, mid are she went into wolf form, landing right in front of them. Lexi was looking at Paul, barred teeth and all. Embry, Leah and Emily as well as Seth all had their mouths dropped. Emily:” Wow, she’s almost as big as Jake!” Lexi walked over to Emily head down, then she looked up at her tilting her head. Emily:” Wow, she’s just beautiful, and the half & half symbol is just remarkable. Won’t that be bad though?” Sam:” She says No, anyone who tries to mess with her has to go through both families; vampires & wolves!” When he said what she was thinking he nodded as well. A few days later she was with the Cullens, Lexi:” Do you want to see me as a wolf in person so to speak?” They all agreed, and Lexi made sure that she had extra clothes with her. She transformed in front of them, Emmett couldn’t help but nod with a smile. Jasper(whispered):” Wow beautiful, extremely beautiful!” Lexi was smiling inside, she went over to Bella nuzzling her hand. Bella:” Wow Lexi, you’re amazing. The half & half logo is even more amazing in person then what you showed me or us!” Emmett:” Definitely. Whoa, I can’t get over how huge you are. Maybe you’ll get a growth spurt.” Lexi bowed her head, she disappeared with her bag, when she went back over to them Emmett smirked. Emmett:” You are having a growth spurt.” Lexi gave him a hug smirking, Lexi:” Both Jake and I think that the both of us and Sam are big because we have Alpha blood in us.” Bella:” Wait, you do?” Lexi(nodded):” Yes my great, great, great grandfather was an Alpha. He was also a white wolf. I get the gene by both of my parents too.” Bella gave her a hug, she knew how important and how much all that meant to Lexi. He told me to follow my heart since it knows what I really want but it’s as conflicted as I am. I told him that I wish there was two of me, that way I could have them both and no one feels left out, heartbroken or anything.
