When he was 16, he decided he didn't need anyone. Hockey was the love of his life. He didn't need any distractions, like his father always said. Aurora was a distraction in every sense of the word. Her name kind of says it all. She was his princess, his sleeping beauty. But hockey was all he could see: the money, the fame, doing what he loved everyday, winning a Stanley Cup someday. He practically chased her away, once he found out she was carrying his child. He couldn't let a girl and some kid ruin his career. He didn't think it would torture him in the long run. He was an afraid 16 year old and now a miserable 25 year old. All because of a 'distraction' and an asshole teenage move.
