"Marcus fucking Kruger!" I hissed violently, stomping my heel for emphasis although I was sure he couldn't hear. "Where the hell are you and Katherine?"
"Oh, I'm sorry. We're stuck here at the other lodge, it's storming pretty bad. They're afraid the roads are slick, so we won't make it back. I'm sure you and Viktor will get along fine, there's plenty of food and blankets." Marcus answered monotonously, unable to pick up just how severe my level of anger was.
Viktor gazed up lazily from his spot on the love seat, where he was sprawled out in a relaxed fashion. I nearly chucked my phone at the wall. "Kruger, I swear-"
"I think you and Viktor need this time, Demi. Don't kill him." And with that, the smug Swede disconnected the call.
