Angel

It was Jake Melrose’s house when I first saw her.

She was sitting with my friend Candy a few other people. She held a cooler in one and a joint loosely in the other. I swear she was perfect. This girl was an angel.

She fell from the sky and landed on earth for the purpose of being beautiful.

And I swear to god I was going to know her.

Probably not today, but someday.

So I pulled out a cigarette from my pocket and I walked outside. I wondered what her name was and I wondered if her laugh was as heavenly as her smile.
