Billie sat on the couch reading June's issue of Rolling Stone. Joey, Billie's son, played quietly on the floor with the action figures his mother had gotten him for his birthday. The four year old noticed that his dad was on the cover.
"Daddy!" Joey screamed excitedly, clapping his small hands together.
"What?" Billie asked, looking at his small son.
"Daddy!" Joey screamed again.
Billie looked at the cover and an 'Oh' escaped from him.
"Daddy come play?" Joey asked, cocking his head to the side.
"You bet," Billie replied, tickling Joey's sides, making the four year giggle.
"Daddy stop!" Joey squealed.
Billie stopped and pulled his son onto his lap.
"I love you," Billie whispered, kissing the top of his son's head.
"I luv you too."
