I decided to try something new. seventhsanctum.com has an option to generate plot challenges. And I used one of these challenges to make a short story.
Plot Challenge:
The story starts during an earthquake. A character will drink something alchoholic. During the story, a character loses something. The story must have a longsword appear in the middle. During the story, someone is mistaken for someone infamous.
