Tangible Melody

Music

A feeling of pure euphoria envelops me. I let the music become one with me, clinging to my skin, before slowly sinking beneath the surface.

The lyrics dance across my brain and the soul and body of the song enters my blood stream, becoming my life force

The music makes me feel whole, alive as it resounds in my skull. The emotions of the song become mine and the problems and heartache of it become a part of me.

I feel the pain of the song, the intensity of it, as it flows from within. I can see the story of the song, can visualize the words as a form of truth.

The song morphs into a part of my life. I understand with a certain clarity, the life the person in the song holds.

Music seems intangible, because we can't physically hold it and see it. However, we can feel it, understand it and let it affect us. In that sense, music is tangible, because every artist puts their heart and soul into their songs.

We can then feel it and see the truth of what the songs are trying to say. Music is a part of me, is it a part of you?
