The Town Called Fairy

The sun was shining brightly and when I hopped off the train, I had to shield my eyes. A black cat wearing a light blue dress walked up to me then and stopped her eyes widening.

“Hi, is there a problem?” I asked.

The cat shrugged and said, “No. I’ve just never seen a creature like you.”

“I’m a human,” I said firmly.

I looked at her blankly. “You’ve never seen a human before?” I questioned.

The cat frowned, “No, but I’ve heard of them. Apparently you live somewhere called Earth.”

I gaped at her, “This isn’t Earth?”

“No, this planet is called, Animalia and you’re in the town called Fairy,” the cat explained.

“How did I switch planets? I just took a train with a talking chimp on it,” I said, confusion entering my voice.

The cat frowned and replied, “There’s a story about how that happens. If you want I can tell you.”

My eyes lit up and I responded, “Yeah, that’d be good.”

The cat smiled, “Alright so it all started with the pioneering of Animalia.”
