So this one day, some girl came up to me.
And said: ‘’You are different.’’
I started to look around me to make sure she was talking to me. And she was.
I didn’t know what to do or say.
‘’Ehm, what do you mean?’’ I asked her.
‘’People can hear you, you have a voice’’ She answered.
Now I was lost, some random girl is coming up to me and telling me I’m different?
How could she say this to me? Maybe she heard me talking to myself while I’m studying? No, I couldn’t even hear myself. I stared at her like a lost puppy trying to figure out why or what is happening. But all she did was smiling at me.
‘’Don’t worry, it’s a complement!’’ she said as the bell started ringing.
I smiled at her as she walked away. And I was just still sitting there alone, in an empty classroom.
Still shocked about what just happened.
